Luck Tokens<\/h2>\r\n

You start each session with 3 Luck Tokens<\/strong> (Halflings get 4<\/strong>).<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Using Luck<\/h3>\r\n\r\n
    \r\n
  • Spend 1 Luck Token<\/strong> to reroll any d20 you just rolled (take the new result).<\/li>\r\n
  • Spend 1 Luck Token<\/strong> to force the DM to reroll an attack against you.<\/li>\r\n
  • Spend 1 Luck Token<\/strong> to turn a failure into a success (GM may veto if implausible).<\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n
      \r\n
    • Spend 2 Luck Tokens<\/strong> to avoid death when you would die.<\/li>\r\n
    • Spend 2 Luck Tokens<\/strong> to stabilize automatically when dying.<\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n
        \r\n
      • Spend 3 Luck Tokens<\/strong> to declare a lucky coincidence (you have the right tool, you know someone here, etc.).<\/li>\r\n
      • Spend 3 Luck Tokens<\/strong> to pull off something heroic and improbable once per session.<\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n

        Use them!<\/strong> They\u2019re meant to be spent.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n

        Regaining Luck<\/h3>\r\n

        Luck Tokens reset at the start of each session. Some GMs award extra tokens for:<\/p>\r\n

          \r\n
        • Excellent roleplaying<\/li>\r\n
        • Creative problem-solving<\/li>\r\n
        • Making the table laugh<\/li>\r\n
        • Advancing the story in unexpected ways<\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n\r\n
